School Newsletter

Good afternoon,

It is hard to believe that we are already halfway through the first half term of the academic year. This first half term is always a busy one, with new topics beginning, friendships forming, and school life returning to full rhythm after the summer break.

Thank you for the support you have given your children and our staff—it makes a real difference as we establish positive learning habits from the very start.

Information for parents of all years

Considerate Parking In and Around School Premises

A polite reminder to everyone to park responsibly when collecting or dropping off children.  I would welcome working with parents to understand how we can help ease the congestion and increase road safety. Please look out for an opportunity to join a group in future newsletters. We have requested a meeting with the Police and Sheffield City Council to discuss the current situation.

Pre-loved Uniform

We are pleased to let parents know that our school continues to run a preloved uniform scheme. This is a great way to recycle good-quality items that your child may have outgrown, while also helping other families.

If you have any clean, gently used uniform that your child no longer needs, we would be very grateful for your donations. Items can be handed in at the school office.

The preloved uniform is also available for families who may find it helpful. If you would like to access items, please don’t hesitate to contact the school office in confidence. We are always happy to support our families.

By donating or reusing uniform, we can work together to save money, reduce waste, and make sure every child has what they need for school.

Good news stories

Macmillan Bake Sale

Our recent bake sale in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support was a fantastic success, with students across the school enjoying the chance to tuck into some sweet treats while raising money for an important cause.

The event created a lively, positive atmosphere and reminded us all how small actions – like buying a bun – can come together to make a big difference.

Together, we’ve shown that fundraising can be fun, and every penny raised will help Macmillan continue to support people living with cancer and their families.

Matilda Auditions

A massive well done to the 70 pupils from Years 7 -11 who auditioned for Matilda. We have been blown away by the school talent and cannot wait to share what will be an amazing show this March.
