Nearly 250 Westfield students sat exams in 25 different qualifications this year. The class of 2025 should be proud of the hard work and determination it took for them to achieve the results they received today. Particular congratulations go to the three students who opened their envelopes to find grades between 7 and 9 in every subject!

Westfield School offers a wide range of options for study and students have received qualifications in subjects as diverse as history, creative imedia, Spanish, fine art, engineering religious studies, food preparation and nutrition, dance, sport studies and photography. All this in addition to the more traditional subjects of maths, English and science.

Students studying engineering and health and social care have performed particularly well, producing strong results for those subjects. Other strong performances have been seen in Westfield’s chemistry, Spanish, maths, English and history departments.

Gaynor Jones, the school’s Headteacher, said: “I am so proud of our Year 11 students. They are an amazing group of young people, who have worked incredibly hard to achieve their results. I’d like to thank them for bringing such energy and enthusiasm to the Westfield community; they have been wonderful role models for our younger students.

“My thanks also go to their families and our staff who have supported them throughout their time at Westfield. We wish them the best of luck, whether they are headed to sixth form, college or into an apprenticeship.”
