Good afternoon,
As we approach the final week of the first spring half term, it is a good moment to reflect on what has been a positive and purposeful start to the year. Pupils have returned with focus and enthusiasm, and it has been a pleasure to see their commitment to learning across the school. Thank you, as always, for your continued support. We look forward to a busy and rewarding final week before the half-term break and hope it provides a chance to celebrate successes and finish the term strongly together.

Year 11 Art Intervention Evenings
To support Year 11 GCSE Art students with their exam project, we will continue to offer two after-school intervention sessions on Monday and Wednesday from 3:00pm to 4:00pm.
We strongly encourage Year 11 students to attend at least one of these sessions, as they provide valuable support in managing the demands of the exam and help students achieve their full potential.
All exam deadlines must be met to ensure students are fully prepared for their Art exam on 29th and 30th April.
Matilda The Musical
Westfield School presents Tim Minchin's Tony Award winning musical 'Matilda Jr'. Performed by our very own Westfield students and inspired by the beloved Roald Dahl book and film adaptation.
Matilda is the story of an extraordinary little girl who, armed with a vivid imagination and a sharp mind, dares to take a stand and change her own destiny.
Join us as our Westfield students perform their version of the show.

Transfer from ParentPay to Arbor Payments
As previously advised we will be moving the school payment system from ParentPay to Arbor payments, via the Arbor Parent Portal over February half term.
Similarly to ParentPay you will be able to make payments and top up accounts for trips, meals, revision guides and resources by logging into your existing Arbor Parent Portal.
To allow us time to transfer any existing balances in ParentPay across to Arbor we will remove all payment items from ParentPay on Friday 13th February. School meal balances will be removed at the end of the school day.
Account balances will be transferred at the start of the half term break with the view to be able to launch Arbor Pay to parents and carers on Thursday 19th February.
Please see below for links to guidance on using Arbor. If you have any further queries please contact enquiries@westfield.chorustrust.org

Y9 GCSE photography trip to Rother Valley
Well done to our Year 9 Photography students who visited Rother Valley this week to capture wildlife and natural landscapes. Despite the extremely cold weather, students had a fantastic time and returned with a wealth of stunning photographs to support their GCSE exam projects.
